Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

I agree. For some reason this semester has been VERY stressful for me. But this is the one class I have felt good about and actually liked coming too. Thanks Mrs. White for everything you have done for us. It truely makes a difference when you have a teacher who cares. And I hope to care for my patients one day, like you care for your students! :o)
Ok, Kasey!! What's your decision? You know you CAN become anything your heart truly desires!!
Yes thank you Mrs. White you are truly a wonderful teacher and person. I am going to miss you, but who knows maybe I will see you again in the future.
Thanks also for posting "extras" on the sidebar on the blog. I especially liked the extra links on Deafness.
Thanks for everything Mrs. White. You have been one of the best professors that I have had since I have been here at Eastern... and I have been here a while now :)Thanks for caring!!
I wish all of your positive comments could equate to a terminal degree (a doctorate) so I could teach full time!!!
I have too much practical experience and time in the schools and not enough education, courses and college work!
Looks like I need to join you all as students and work on my next degree!
I agree, this class has been a great aspect in helping me become a future educator. The best point that I will remember as a future teacher is that if the class does not succeed it is due to my teaching nothing else. I learned alot from this class and would love to see you become a student with us to work on you next degree! :)
THANK YOU SOO MUCH AGAIN!
