well you won't be seeing me anymore

Yesterday I finally came to my decision to change my major back to what it was when I came here: Forensics. I have been battling with my decision to change back since I changed it in the first place. I came to Eastern for the forensics program and I have always had a passion for science. But, I think I changed it because I wanted to make my mother proud. My mother is a teacher's aid in an FMD room at my old high school. I guess I felt like since she couldn't be a teacher, I should. I've always had a passion for kids and I thought I wanted to work with kids. But with all of the (excuse me) b.s. in the school systems, I think I would get tired of the job. But I realized that making lesson plans and making sure every child is getting the core content is not for me. I mean I love kids, I want to have like 4 of them. But I just don't think that teaching them is what I am meant to do. As for the rest of you, I hope you all become great teachers and change children's lives. Sorry to have wasted your time, Mrs. White.

Thanks and good bye.

If teaching was meant to be it is okay to have a change of heart, good luck with forensics. Go get some bad guys.

Teaching isn't for everyone! You have to do what your passion is!It's good you changed your mind now! good luck in forensic science, it's always interested me as well!! :-)

You have not wasted my time at all! I applaud you for having the courage to do what you believe in your heart is the best for YOU. Teaching is hard work. It does require a passion for student learning. If that isn't your passion you are being honest to recognize it and be willing to do something for which you do have an interest and passion. Pursue your dreams!!
