I always like hearing "This Day In History" on the news or on the radio, so I thought I'd share what I found out for today! On this day, in 1936 major league baseball inducted the first 5 memebers of the "Baseball Hall of Fame." Those guys were, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner and Christy Mathewson.
Just thought I would share a fun fact! Hope every one has a great tuesday evening! :)

That is very interresting information! I can't say that I know much about baseball, but I really enjoy the game! I know that this will be a fun fact to share with people. It will make me look so knowledgeable !
My mom is a huge baseball fanatic! And she thinks she knows everything about the sport. So I decided after reading your post to call and test her and see if she knew it. I really thought I was going to get one past her. But she definitely knew all 5 of them... in order. I guess I should have learned by now that moms know everything.
One of my goals in life (before I married) was to see if I could visit all of the major league baseball parks. Of course, they started tearing many down and building new. But, I have been to 9.
